Toyota Land Cruiser - CAR Magazine Review

This is the most recent review of the new model Toyota Landcruiser from the CAR Magazine website, and it covers the 3.0 litre diesel 5 door variant rather than the V8. It's a comprehensive road test, and gives a good idea of the car's strength and weaknesses, but we don't want to reproduce the whole thing here and steal the authors work, so we will just show you a few snippets and if you fancy reading the whole thing you can follow the link at the bottom of this page.

CAR Magazine Said:

"The Land Cruiser’s body-on-frame ruggedness would come into its own in the Outback or the Middle East... but this excellence is largely wasted in the UK..."

"Whatever spec you choose, it’s more Mitsubishi Outlander inside than Land Rover Discovery. The plastics and controls are pretty cheap and everything just looks a bit dated..."

"The Landcruiser also rides with a lolloping gait, has very light and slow-witted steering and, while it’s generally composed, there’s too much thumping..."

Here we have the latest Toyota Landcruiser review from Autocar Magazines website. In this instance they have reviewed the new 3.0 litre diesel engine in the top LC5 specification.
